Why is shipping carrier value sent as "Other" to Mydeal?
This article helps merchants in resolving the issue regarding order fulfillment (Carrier name) is not correct in Mydeal.
Issue
Customer has placed the order in Mydeal and CrescoData sent this order to Seller for fulfillment. After updating the shipment, Mydeal will receive the Shipping & tracking information. Where Mydeal has received the carrier’s name as "Other" instead of getting the actual carrier’s name
In this case, Mydeal cannot identify the specific carrier for the order, causing difficulties in providing tracking information to customers.
Solution
To resolve this issue, it is necessary to advise the seller to add the shipping aggregator under the Maropost table. By doing so, CrescoData will receive an order payload with a shipping service ID other than 0. Then the system will map the courier based on the mapping done in the Cresco-Neto portal.
Please note that CrescoData will be unable to read the shipping method received from Neto if the specific carrier is not added to the Maropost Shipping & Rates table.

Note: After setup is done. New orders received from Neto should be able to be sent by the shipping carrier to Mydeal. This will not apply to the existing orders which have already been placed.
