Account Setup:
Amazon offers two selling plans:

  • Professional Plan: Unlimited product listings with a $39.99 monthly subscription fee.
  • Individual Plan: No monthly fee but $0.99 per item sold. Both plans include additional selling fees.

More than 20 product categories are open to all sellers, while an additional 10+ are available exclusively for Professional Sellers. To get started, businesses can register on Seller Central, Amazon’s platform for managing accounts.

Authentication Process:
To integrate CrescoData, you must authorize it as a developer in your Amazon Seller Central account:

  1. Log in to Seller Central and navigate to “User Permissions.”
  2. Click “Visit Manage Your Apps” and select “Authorize a New Developer.”
  3. Enter the following details:
    • Developer Name: CrescoData
    • Developer ID: (Provided upon request from Support or your Account Manager)

Taxonomy & Image Requirements:

  • Categories and Attributes: CrescoData updates categories every 24 hours, while Amazon’s updates may vary.
  • Images: Must meet Amazon’s quality standards:
    • Minimum 1000 pixels in width or height.
    • White background with at least 85% of the frame filled by the product.
    • Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, or TIFF.

Custom Features:

  • Videos on Product Pages: Add promotional videos to enhance product visibility.
  • Enhanced Branding: Improved brand visibility with Amazon’s Brand URL for social media sharing.

Known Issues:

  • Co-mingled SKUs: Non-stickered inventory may get mixed with other sellers’ products.
  • Duplicate Listings: Competitors may post duplicate SKUs, diverting customers.
  • Tax Deduction Issues: Default tax settings may need manual adjustments for new listings.
