Developer Account

For merchants to connect to the Shopee API, you first need to set up a developer account and apply for an App.

Steps on how to do this can be found HERE

Once approved you can provide us with your Shopee partnerId and secretKey.

Merchant Authentication

Merchant Authentication is via oAuth.

Upon creating a merchant account, the connectivity section of the setup will have a link that allows merchants to authenticate their account.

This requires merchants to login using their Shopee Seller Centre details and approve access.

API LIMITS

The Shopify REST Admin API applies rate limits to the API requests that it receives. Every request is subject to throttling under the general limits. In addition, there are resource-based rate limits and throttles.

Limits are calculated using the leaky bucket algorithm. All requests that are made after rate limits have been exceeded are throttled and an HTTP 429 Too Many Requests error is returned. Requests succeed again after enough requests have emptied out of the bucket. You can see the current state of the throttle for a shop by using the rate limits header. More information can be found:

Please note each marketplace treats financial calculations differenty. Its important to note these calculation differences in the raw data or to let CrescoData know if you need a calculation change. More information at:
