What is Channel-Integration-as-a-Service (cPaaS)
Channel-integration-as-a-Service (cPaaS) is outsourcing costly connection and maintenance of commerce Publishing Destinations to a third party. Any Publishing Destination changes including API taxonomy and rules are handled by CrescoData.
CrescoData offers 2 services that can be synced using cPaaS - Product Sync and Order sync. These can be further broken down into Product, image, price, promotions, stock, orders and order status updates depending on your requirements. Any updates at the Source Platform are automatically reflected on The Publishing Destination.
What is Systems-Integration-as-a-Service (sPaaS)
Systems-Integration-as-a-Service (sPaaS) is the outsourcing of the technical connection of disparte commerce platforms and systems. Any updates or changes in the connected systems are handled by CrescoData and data updates are automated.
Engines Powering The Platform
CrescoData has a prioriatory Rules Engine is able to configure infinite system and business rules to ensure specific and tailored customisation for your business needs. The rules are classified into three different brackets:
- Default System Rules
- Product Syndication Rules
- Order Sync Rules
What does the Rules Engine do?
It is an in-house built Rules Engine that allows for an unlimited and infinite number of rules to be applied to the connection. Rules can be applied to the connection between the customer platform and CrescoData; the channels or to the Product Sync or Order Sync Services.
Data Rules include:
- Source integration connection
- changes to title
- adding of keywords,
- ability to group or restrict by channel
- Currency conversion,
- Price changes
- Ability to set minimum stock levels
- Set different stock ratios by channel
- Ability to schedule promotions and specify to product level
- ability to add or calculate shipping information
CrescoData has an in-house developed categorisation and mapping engine that automatically maps categories to channels using AI and Machine learning.
The master Category Tree boasts over 42,000 categories and more than 80 million products. The Master Category tree is pre-mapped using our smart mapper tool to over 70 channels including Lazada, eBay, Amazon and Google Shopping. Using the latest CNN and logistic regression machine learning technique, our engine is able to map any source products up to 95% level 1 accuracy
Categorisation and Mapping can be done in the following way:
- Customer to send CrescoData their categorisation and mapping requirements
- CrescoData can send recommendations on Publishing Destination mapping and categorisation for Customer to review and amend if necessary
- CrescoData can an provide automated mapping and categorisaion
Note the categorisation engine uses product descriptions. The more information provided the better the accuracy. If products are missing information there is no guarantee that they can be mapped or categorised
