What is Marketplace Mapper?
The CrescoData Marketplace Mapper enables you to use your Source Platform as The Source of Truth to sync products with marketplaces.
The CrescoData Mapping Language provides a unified data structure to enable efficient mapping to each marketplace’s requirements, removing the need for manual product mapping by the marketplace.
It allows you to map to the Category and attribute requirements to list on each Marketplace.

Why are my Categories and Attributes not updating?
After you have completed mapping your categories and attributes, please ensure you republish your products to the relevant marketplace. Mappings will only sync to the Marketplace upon republishing.
Are there any tricks to speed up the mapping process?
There are a few efficiencies to speed up the process:
Categories
- There is the option to export your Source categories to map to a Marketplace category in bulk.
- You can search for a Source category by keyword and then Copy / Paste the Marketplace category to all relevant Source categories.
Attributes: If a default value is selected for a common attribute, it will automatically map as the default for all other Categories.
You can also Copy and Paste the Marketplace value to other Source values.
Can I overwrite a category at a product level?
If the Source Category to Marketplace Category is not correct, you can overwrite this mapping at a product level – Depending on your Source platform this could be a tag, meta field or custom field. See the video below on how:
